Athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. Loose swing from the right-side of the plate with quick bat speed. Longer swing path, gets to extension. Fluid rhythm throughout. High exit velocity of 93 mph. Defensively, sure handed, clean exchange. Plays through the ball well; heavy feet. Long, over-the-top arm action, average carry at 75 mph. Runs a 7.46 60-yard dash.
6/12/18: 2020 MIF/RHP hits from the right side tall athletic setup in the box, uses leg lift trigger with rocker type load. Bat path is uphill, back side tended to collapse throughout swing. Showed decent bat speed through the zone with the ability to use the whole field. In the field footwork was choppy and heavy. Did not play through the baseball. Showed below average arm strength across the diamond. On the mound tempo and rhythm to the plate were choppy. Pitches from high ¾ arm slot, arm speed is average with a short stroke. Stayed in line to plate and landed closed. FB sat 68-71.
3/5/17: The 6-foot-1, 160 pound infielder hits from an athletic setup with leg kick and hand drop. Average bat speed, long path to ball. Some potential power but lot of moving pieces to get controlled. Long limbed infielder has a short arm action with accurate throws topping at 69mph. Above average hands with clean exchange. Plays through the ball. On the mound, 3/4 arm slot with good direction in a drop and drive delivery. Lands squared with choppy rhythm during load. Arm swing stabs on the backside. Fastball has slight sink topping at 74. Breaking ball sat 57-62 with a slowed arm. Change-up has slight run and fade.
