2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Unsigned senior had another solid outing going complete game, 3 hits, 1 unearned run against 4A No. 2 Cathedral.  Works ahead, features a sharp breaking ball at 73-75.  Fastball sat 82-84, touched an 85 early.  Fastball is straight with good command to both sides of the plate.  Missed barrels by changing speeds early in count.  Arm action has a wrist twist on the backside.  Gets into a high 3/4 slot with above average arm speed.  Two-way athlete is a high follow on the unsigned senior list.  

6-foot-2, 205 pound unsigned senior pitched four innings of no-hit baseball in relief.  In his first inning the fastball sat 83-84, touching 85 before settling in at 80-82 in the last coupe of innings.  His best pitch was his 72-74 curveball that showed lots of depth and consistently was thrown for a strike, getting swings and misses.  He finished his night striking out six and walking three. Hook/wrap on the backside of the arm action. 

7/27/16: The 6 foot 2 195 pound infielder showcased athletic actions at third base.  Arm is strong and throws were accurate.  Hands are soft with a long exchange.  Plays thru the ball well.  Offensively, he hits from an athletic setup and maintains good balance.  Bat speed is fast with a level path.  Produced solid contact throughout his round.  On the mound, he has good command with the fastball at 79-80mph.  

6/21/16: The 6 foot 2 195 pound infielder ran a 7.52 60yd dash.  On the mound, fastball sat 80-81 touching 82 with slight run.  Breaking ball sat 71-74 with gradual break and 11/5 shape.  Threw strikes and changes speeds well.  At the plate, bat speed is fast with a level swing.  Has fluid actions and some gap to gap power.
