2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Stocky third baseman has a short, loose arm action with life behind his throws across the infield.  Sure hands, average foot speed.  Plays through the ball.  Left-handed hitter has an open setup with high back elbow.  Creates an uphill bat path with quick barrel.  Gap to gap power.  Hit an opposite field line drive double to put the Panthers ahead. 

7/27/15: 5-foot-10, 180 pounds. Pitches from a long, loose ¾ arm action.  Works at a quick pace.  Possesses average arm speed.  Falls off towards first base side after landing.  Fastball was 76-78 and kept in the zone.  Breaking ball sat 65-66 with an 11/5 shape.  Changeup has some sink at 69-71.  In the field possesses sure hands.  Feet are heavy, but showed the ability to make plays.  Across the diamond is 78 mph.  At the plate the LHH hits from a wide, open stance using a short stride.  High back elbow. Smooth load with quick hand speed.  Short, level path, pull-side hitter.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 78 mph.
