1/26/19 - Emhardt is a 5-foot-11 150-pound left handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 4.50 home to first and has an 81 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts loaded in back side, reverse toe tap to stride, balanced and under control, hands manage the bat, high finish, gap to gap approach.  On the infield, over the top arm slot, fluid actions to the ball with footwork, plays through the ball with clean exchange, creates momentum to throw, mostly accurate throws, 81 mph positional velocity. On the mound, Emhardt was impressive in his bullpen with command and projectable velocity, controlled and smooth delivery, repeatable, throws with regular effort, loose over the top arm slot, fastball at 82-84 mph, some with arm side run, breaking ball works out of same slot as fastball, 11-to-5 action, sharp and late, 69-73 mph, change up has some depth with arm side sink, throws with near fastball arm speed, 76-77 mph, high upside with arm action and command of all pitches.
