Alex Hughes: RHP/RHP, (2024) Bellingham High School, MA. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic lean build. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a short quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 79-80 mph; had command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 1964; Avg 1852). His curveball (70-71) had glove side around the zone control and sweeping deceiving action. (Max spin 1785; Avg 1745). Shows arm side control and gradual fading action on his changeup (71-73).
