Brady Balint: OF/LHP, (2023) Pope Francis Prep, MA. 5-foot-7, 150-pound slim frame. (68.2 mph bat speed average). (25.2 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, had a simple swing plane and balanced finish. He found a few barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 74 mph; had consistent footwork, a fluid exchange, and soft sure hands. Fielded the ball to the side with athletic movement laterally. Showed some accuracy to the base with a loose arm action and athletic slot. Confident on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose clean arm action while showing some arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with an even in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1923; Avg 1842).
