10/10/16
6-foot-1, 150-pound, thin, long and lengthy athletic frame, has plenty of room for future development. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery out of the full motion is controlled, has tempo and timing to it. The hands start and stay high, gets to a good gather, has some coil to it at its peak. The backside leg has a small collapse to it. The arm works freely, the ball comes out of ¾ slot, clocked at 78-80 mph with more in the tank. Fastball has sink and run to the arm side, looked to be tough on right-handed hitters. I’m sure fatigue is starting to set in. The changeup is a good pitch, clocked at 65-68 mph, had fade action to it, sold well with good hand speed. The breaking ball was clcoked at 66-68 mph, was thrown for strikes. Times to plate were good at 1.3, worked fast between pitches. The arm works, has some projection to him, with more in the arm, secondary stuff is good, is thrown for strikes.

Slender right-hander with long and lanky arms. The delivery has deception to it as he has a coil and turn with the upper body at the top of his lift. The curls his lead foot behind his back knee as well. Does a good job posting the glove side and not pulling himself off target too much. The arm work, short on the backside. The command needs to improve but the stuff certainly shows promise. Fastball touched 83 mph with arm-side run. Two types of spin pitches, the breaking ball was 66-68 mph and the slider sat at 69-73 mph. Showed a good changeup a couple times, backed up nicely, sat at 70-71 mph. 1.25 time to the plate in the stretch, handling the running game will not be an issue for him. Keep an eye on this arm, if he can lessen the coil and get better tracking to foot strike he may make a jump. The secondary stuff already has the makings.
