5-foot-6, 135-pound, athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, movements are loose and work with easy effort. The top tool is his overall athletic ability and his hit tool. At the plate, hits from the right side, front foot slightly open, sits in his stance, balanced, more of a knee to knee set up. The hands are held at shoulders, back elbow extended out. The lower half is under control, uses a small controlled leg kick. The swing is level through the zone, keeps the hands inside the baseball extremely well, spraying line drives to all fields. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 76 mph and ran a 4.53 from home to first base. Defensively, worked out at shortstop, the footwork is advanced, good prep steps, gets around the baseball, hands are super soft, works low to the ground. The arm is short and clean, works from a ¾ slot, clocked at 72 mph. The double play feeds and turns were performed correct. Off the mound, simple, balanced delivery. The hands work in sync with leg raise, gets over the back side, landing foot is on time and in line with the plate. The arm action is shorter on the backside, works out of a ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 72 mph, located it to both sides of the plate. The curveball was his best pitch, had 11/5 break, thrown for strikes clocked at 59-61 mph, proper spin. Competed well, worked quick. Good looking young player, plays both sides of the field.
