Daniel Sciarretta: LHP/1B, (2024) Chicopee Comprehensive, MA. 5-foot-9, 135-pound slim frame. Capable during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 77 mph. (60.3 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a tight load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, displays an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. Found a few barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 70 mph; has developing soft hands, a clean natural exchange, and developing consistent feet. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Used a consistent arm action and a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.0. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a consistent arm action with low ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 74-75 mph; showed command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2080; Avg 2013). Has sweeping action and glove side control on his curveball (65-66). (Max spin 2151; Avg 2046). Showed arm side control and gradual fading action on his changeup (69-70).
