Desmond Hayeck: OF/RHP, (2025) St Johns Shrewsbury, MA, MA. 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic lean build. Projectable and athletic at the plate, Hayeck clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. (70.6 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced open stance with a handsy load, then uses a closed small stride. Has an uphill loose swing plane, developing quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 82 mph; has developing consistent feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing athletically. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.5.
