5-foot-8, 145-pound, smaller, strong athletic frame. A right-handed hitting infielder. At the plate, the hands are loose and strong set above the back shoulder, bat starting in a flat tilted position. The feet are even and wider than shoulder width. For timing uses a higher controlled leg kick, gains ground with stride foot. The swing is level through the zone, line drive approach. The hands stay inside the baseball, and finishes at the shoulders with a one handed finish. The lower half is under control, transfers weight from back side to front. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph, and ran a 4.77 from home to first base. Defensively, the hands are soft, fields out front. The transfer is clean and quick into the throwing arm. The arm works out of a high ¾ slot, clocked at 73 mph. The double play feeds and turns were performed correct, gets rid of the baseball quickly. Moves extremely well to both sides, projects out more of a second baseman. Shows the ability to be able to handle the bat.
