Above average and projectable at the plate, Shea-gallagher had an exit velocity of 92 mph. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed is developing above average, shows a flat loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 89 mph. While catching, shows a clean natural transfer, soft developing hands, and developing athletic feet. Used a very quick arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. (69.6 mph bat speed average). (20.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick developing, exhibits a loose flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 84 mph; had a clean natural exchange, athletic developing footwork, and developing soft hands. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. 

Liam Shea-Gallagher: SS/OF, (2024) out of Wilbraham & Monson Academy, MA. is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, Shea-gallagher's best exit velocity was 86 MPH. He sets up in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He gets the weight stacked over the back leg before taking a flat path through the hitting zone. He showed a quick bat and the ability to spray the ball. In the infield, Shea-Gallagher was 78 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls, he showed he had a clean exchange, sure hands, and rhythmic footwork. On the mound, he works out of a simple delivery. He gets balanced at the top and separates well. His chest opens a bit and causes him to fall toward his glove side. The arm works out of a high ¾ arm slot that produces a fastball that sits 77-78 MPH with arm-side run. He also showed a 12/6 curveball (63-64 MPH) and a changeup (63-64 MPH) with sinking action.

The approach in the outfield is appropriate as he works his feet through the baseball to make the throw. He threw 75 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. He threw 75 mph during the infield portion of the workout as well. The feet need stay active through the fielding of the baseball in the infield. The bat has an exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The stride is long and the hands work freely with the bat. The frame needs additional strength added to aid the development of the bat.

The approach in the outfield is online and aggressive, threw 75 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The feet and glove showed solid in the infield, throwing 71 mph across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 82 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The hands work clean and he shows a solid path to the ball. I like the approach and hands at the dish.
