Pedroli is a young 5-foot-4, 110 pound left-handed hitting outfield prospect. He hits out of a slightly open stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A knee slide stacks the weight over the back side before the bat-head enters the hitting zone on a direct, flat path. The simplicity of his swing yielded a lot of solid line drives and a max exit velocity of 71 MPH during the batting practice.
Defensively, Pedroli was 66 MPH on his throws from the outfield. The feet worked well and allowed him to break down into a good fielding position. He transitions nicely through the play, with a good ball exchange, allowing the arm to work freely. He finishes in line with his target and over his front leg.
The 4-foot-10, 90 pound left-handed hitting outfielder has a good looking swing. The tee exit velocity was 56 mph. The stance is slightly open, with the hands set off the back shoulder. The load begins with a big leg kick and a push back of the hands. The swing was flat and produced consistent line drives throughout the BP.
Defensively, the arm was 62 mph from the outfield. The approach was controlled and he got into a balanced fielding position. The glove was out in front and relaxed during the fielding process. The transition to the throwing position was good and in line with the throwing target.
