The 5-foot-9, 145 pound right-handed hitting infielder had a tee exit velocity of 76 mph. The stance is wide, with the hands set off the back shoulder.  The load is short and he gets into a strong hitting position.  The swing is fluid.  The hands are quick and the bat head takes a direct path to contact.  As he extends through the ball, the barrel stays extended through the follow-through. He also ran a 4.9 second home to first base at the event.Defensively, the feet are active and soft.  As the ball is hit, the actions are fluid.  He moves well laterally and does a good job creating good angles.  The breakdown to field is controlled and the feet get the body in a position to get the good hop.  The hands work well and he stays in line as he transitions to throw.  The are is loose and he was 74 mph across the diamond. On the mound, the delivery is simple and he stays balanced over the back leg before heading down the mound.  He stays in line and the arm swing is clean.  With these simple mechanics, he is able to create arm side run to both sides of the plate with a fastball that sat 73-76 mph.  He also mixed in a sweeping breaking pitch at 64-69 mph and a changeup 73-74 mph.  Both pitches are quality secondary pitches and he uses them well.
