Pedro Lopez: RHP/OF, (2025) English, MA. 5-foot-11, 170-pound lean athletic build. Projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. (73.1 mph bat speed average). (24.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a handsy load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing, uses a long loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic and projectable recorded an outfield position velocity of 83 mph; has a natural exchange, athletic quick feet, and soft developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.73. Projectable on the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with above average developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph; shows running action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2040; Avg 1947). Showed sweeping action and glove side around the zone command on his curveball (66-68). (Max spin 1996; Avg 1907). His changeup (72-73) showed gradual fading action and arm side control.
