Connor Blaney: 1B/RHP, (2026) ARCHBISHOP WILLIAMS HIGH SCHOOL, MA. 5-foot-10, 164-pound lean build. Solid at the plate, Blaney clocked an exit velocity of 81 mph. (57.9 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced open stance with a high load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, uses a loose simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 66 mph; had developing hands, a natural exchange, and developing consistent footwork. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the base and a high ¾ slot. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a consistent arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Balance point is tall, with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 66-67 mph; has arm side command and tailing action.
