Shoulders coil closed, hands load back to a slight arm bar, and gets barrel on plane for a level path swing. Showed a consistent middle approach. Exit velocity was 81 mph. Defensively Merrill had efficient routes on groundballs, worked through the catch, and had solid glove presentation. Clean centered exchange, short arm circle, and threw from a three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 74 mph. Ran a 7.45 60.
