Body: 5’7”, 130 pounds. Athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, tall, slightly open stance at the plate. Quick knee-to-knee load and average stride length. Some hand separation with a more level swing path and some bat speed through contact. Maintains solid balance throughout and stays behind the ball well. Strong middle of the field line drive approach and a two-handed finish.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Some pull side pop present with ore developing as his body continues to fill out.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid to high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Attacks the ball with quick, active feet. Fields it out in front from a solid base with soft hands and quick, fluid actions with clean exchanges. Shows solid range side to side with clean transfers.
Run: 7.67 60-Yard Time.
Maryland Top Prospect Games II
Body: 5’7’’, 130 pounds. Athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a taller, balanced, square stance at the plate. Smooth back load and short stride with some hand separation. Stays behind the ball well with a more level swing path that has a tendency to get slightly uphill at times. Nice lower half involvement and balance throughout the swing. Short to, showing some bat speed through the zone. Gets extension past contact with a strong two-handed finish. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with more pull-side tendencies currently.
Power: 77 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Occasional pop to the pull-side, power still developing.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Attacks the ball well with quick, active feet. Fields it out in front with smooth, soft hands and a quick, clean release. Shows solid range side to side with clean transfers and smooth actions on double play feeds.
Run: 7.65 60-yard time.
