Body: 6’3’’, 185 pounds. Lengthy, athletic frame that has recently added more strength. Hit: LHH. Wide, backloaded setup with consistent, controlled rhythm in the hands. Stayed stacked up on launch, using a short up/down load to initiate his swing through a twitchy, flat path into the hitting zone. Top of the order profile with a gap to gap approach in the box, held low posture and got into the legs well enough to do damage to the pull side. Power: 93 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Doubles/triples power to pull, especially showing comfortability peppering the RCF gap with footspeed present. Arm: LH. OF - 80 mph. Quick, short high ¾ slot on the target with ASR. Defense: Centerfield/left field qualities with ability to track the ball in the air, quick first step and can drop and go get it. Approach with confidence fielding off the right foot with two hands, could kill the ball and funnel inward with an accurate throwing arm on the front end. Rangy defender cuts down balls in the gap with solid route-running skills. Run: 6.89 60-yard time.
2019 Diamondskills All-American Camp 6-foot-2, 155-pound lanky athletic frame. Ran a 7.12 60. Athletic in line setup with toe tap to stride. Lands slightly open with short quick hands to the ball. Fires the hips with aggression and finished upright. Shows some power potential as he grows into his frame and adds strength. Exit velocity at 74 mph. Slower fluid approach to the ball in the outfield and plays through the ball. Utilizes a step through pro-hop with a longer high three-quarter arm action with a 65 mph positional velocity. Smooth, low effort delivery and stays tall throughout. Maintains level shoulders throughout delivery and is slightly rushed at balance point. Has a high three-quarter arm slot with below average arm speed. Is in line with an open foot at landing and finishes upright. FB 63-65 CB 50-53. Curveball displayed a tight 1/7 shape at times with some depth and ability to locate it.
