Carrington has transformed his frame looking more lean with strength. Hits from an athletic set up, with some bat speed and pull side pop. Has developed nicely and looks primed for more heading into his junior campaign.

2.27.16 - Projectable frame at 6-foot, 205-pounds. Hits from a tall set up. Short load with leg kick. Lands lsighlty closed. Level swing path with quick hands and some bat speed. Shows some balance through contact. Potential pull side power. Exit velocity of 79 mph. Active feet in the infield. Clean hands would like to see get rid of ball more quickly. Short arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Infield velocity of 75 mph and ran a 5.21 home to first…Controlled delivery. Has a short arm action with some arm speed throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Has some lower usage and could get more. Pitches with regular effort. Lands square to the plate with occasional finish to first base side. Fastball has slight sink to the pitch up to 77 mph. Breaking ball has 11/5 movement and gradual break at 65 mph with near fastball arm speed. Changeup has fade to the pitch with near fastball arm speed at 67 mph.
