Projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 92 mph, Top 2 velocity of the day. Began in a balanced open stance with a low load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed is quick, displays an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 77 mph. Projectable and athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 79 mph; has developing athletic feet, developing hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Recorded a 60 time of 7.4 at the event. Projectable on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with quick consistent arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance is tal,l point with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph; shows command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 2166; Avg 2066).
