8/18/20

6-foot, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 82 mph and showed true in shape. He showed good command of the pitch. The spin pitch was 71-72 mph and solid in shape. The changeup is trending up as it sat 76-79 mph. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is solid in tempo, foot has a lean to it as it is posted against the rubber. The frame has forward lean as he goes into foot strike. The hips coil at the top of the lift and he shows a clean and strong arm. He does show recoil as he gets into release. The body frame is durable and he shows a good feel for pitching.

9/15/19

The 6-foot, 175 pound right-handed pitcher uses a simple controlled delivery to stay in line and locate to both sides of the plate.  The arm swing is clean and the ball comes at hitters from a ¾ slot.  The fastball was 75-82 mph with late heavy sink on both sides.  The breaking ball is a good pitch at 66-69 mph.The spin is tight and the action is late. This is a guy who knows how to pitch to both sides of the plate and changes planes.  As he continues to develop and get stronger, I’m looking for a big jump in velocity.
