Nathan Collins: C/3B, (2028) Bonny Eagle, ME. 130-pound slim frame. Projectable during batting practice, the hitter clocked an exit velocity of 78 mph. Starts in an open balanced stance with a low handsy load, then uses a closed small stride. Had quick developing bat speed, uphill loose swing plane and high good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable, his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 67 mph; showed a natural exchange, developing hands, and developing in control feet. Fielded the ball to the side with developing movement laterally. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 65 mph during throw downs; had developing in control footwork, developing hands, and a natural transfer. Clean setup. Used a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Projectable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a short consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed effort. Has in line shoulder and consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 70-71 mph; showed command arm side around the zone and running sinking action. Has sweeping action and glove side around the zone command on his curveball (62-63). His changeup (63-64) showed arm side command and gradual fading action.
