2/28/16
Smith has a projectable 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame. He throws from a high-3/4 arm slot and has a long, loose arm action with quick arm speed. His fastball sat 81-85 mph with sink and was located on both sides of the plate. His changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and sat 73-75 mph with some downhill action. His curveball had 12/6 break to it as he threw it from a higher arm slot and sat 67-70 mph. He showed the ability to throw three pitches for strikes and stay effortless with his delivery. He used his lower half well with his delivery.

8/8/15
6-foot-5, 200-pound prospect. From an upright stance throws hands at the ball with a level swing. 88 mph exit velocity. Aggressive fielding outfielder who threw 86 mph. On the hill, throws with a free and easy motion, over the top with a quick arm action. Throws downhill powering his heavy 82-84 mph fastball down in the zone. Also showed a sharp breaking 11/5 power curve 72-76 mph.

6/17/14
6-foot-5, 200 pound long and lanky prospect. All pitches have great movement; will need to refine to get them in the strike zone. Fastball sits 78-80 with arm side run. Change-up is 71 mph with good sink. Curve-ball is elevated at times at 66-67. Upside is big with his size and future.
