9/15/14 - Lewis is a strong, athletic 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. He hides the ball well, throws from a low three-quarters slot and attacks the bottom of the strike zone with a sinking 81-84 mph fastball. He also showed feel for a hard 73-74 mph slurve, a pitch he used effectively as he worked five innings against the Black Sox on Sunday. In five innings he yielded three hits, one walk while punching out six batters. In addition to the ability to consistently work down in the zone with his fastball and breaking ball he also flashed a 70 mph change up and was able to elevate his fastball with two strikes to finish off batters.
