11/4/17 - Grissell is a 6-foot 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman  and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 8.01 60 and a 4.69 home to first.  He has a 79 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced stance, reverse toe tap to load, minimal hand movement, level bat path with mostly pull side contact during hitting evaluations.  On the infield, 68 mph positional velo at first base, short three quarters release, clean transfer with fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Grissell comes from a high three quarters arm slot, throws with regular effort, slight rotation at top of balance point, body stays under control, throws slightly across body, fastball at 73-75 mph, works to both sides of the plate, curveball has 12-to-6 action, occasionally sharp downward action, throws a change up with knuckleball action, late sink, has feel, 64-66 mph.
