Braiden Jones: 3B/RHP, (2021) Stone High School, MS. 6-foot-1, 181-pound athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 77 mph. Started in a wide stance with a small load, then used a short stride before his swing. Had a level swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ended his swing with extension on his finish. Line drive approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 72 mph across the field; has rhythmic feet and a quick exchange. He clocked a time of 8.02 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed and an over-the-top angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses high effort. Has an athletic balance point with even shoulders. Lands square. Produced a fastball that came in at 76-78 mph. Changeup (72-74 mph) worked best in combination with his fastball. Had in the zone control on his 12/6 curveball (69-72).
