Wil Jaques: RHP/OF, (2022) Souhegan High School, NH. 6-foot-3, 180-pound athletic frame. Athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in a wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Had a long swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 83 mph; had athletic footwork, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Projectable on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action with quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 81-82 mph; shows very consistent control and running action with heavy movement. Threw a 11/5 curveball (68-69) with sweeping action and around the zone command. His changeup (72-73) showed control around the zone and sinking action. Had deceiving action and command around the zone on his knuckleball (66-67).

Body: 6-foot-3, 180-pound athletic frame.
Hit: (RHH) Began in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Quick bat speed. High finish, long swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity, average 79.79 mph. 68.91 mph bat speed average. 23.91 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (OF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Athletic. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front.
Arm: 83 mph outfield velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Pitching: Projectable. Up-tempo delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, consistent arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, an athletic finish.
FB: T82. 81-82 mph. (Max spin 1960; Avg 1815). Very consistent accuracy, running action, heavy movement.
CB: 68-69 mph. Around the zone command, sweeping action, 11/5 shape.
CH: 72-73 mph. Around the zone command, sinking action.
KN: 66-67 mph. Around the zone command, deceiving action.
6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder. He ran a 7.22 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is athletic and online. The arm works free and clean as he threw 80 mph to the plate from right-field. The bat has an exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains ground to the baseball as it approaches the plate. The path is uphill through contact as he displayed a 1-handed finish after contact with the baseball. On the mound, the delivery has crossfire to the feet and slot is slightly above 3/4 in height. The top half stays closed through the leg drive and he finishes out front. The arm works clean and he shows deception. The fastball sat 79-80 mph with arm side run. The spin pitch is big in shape and needs more fastball hand speed added to it, sat 67-68 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The frame is thin railed as he can add strength and weight.
Exit Velocity- 89 mph
OF Velocity- 80 mph
6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting outfielder. The approach in the outfield is athletic and under control. He threw 74 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 77 mph. The setup is upright and he gains minimal ground as the ball approaches. The path is in and out of the zone too quickly as the bat path needs to be flattened. On the mound, the fastball sat 71-72 mph. The spin pitch is 66-67 mph and showed solid shape to it. The change of pace is a knuckle ball which sat at 60-62 mph. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is 3/4. The arm is whippy and loose. The frame projects and the delivery is repeated, as he showed solid direction to the plate. I like the projection on the mound.
