Physical: Lengthy, athletic 6-foot-1, 180lb frame with strength present and some projection left. 7.22 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance as the knees showed a slight bend; higher hands slotted back above the shoulder on-time with a leg-lift to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Good posture staying on the rear hip, allowing the body to sequence properly into the front of the plate with leverage. Showcased a mostly extra-base hit approach to the pull-side en route to a 91 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman. Recorded an impressive 55% line drive rate with ability to hit for average down the road; stayed short to the ball reaching a 313 foot batted ball distance at his peak with more coming.
Defensively: The primary outfielder played behind the baseball, generating a ton of momentum after fielding with a strong, low postured shuffle before releasing from H ¾ slot to the target (corner outfield projection, accurate, 76 mph arm). Then moved over to the infield, operating with quick lateral movements from right to left. Kept the glove hand down on the ground with developing routes; held some pace and released from a shorter H ¾ slot across the diamond (75 mph arm) hinting at 2B or 3B abilities.
