Christopher is a lean 5-foot-7 130 pound infielder who ran a showcase best 4.12 home to 1B and had an exit velocity of 75 MPH. Offensively- Sets up with a even and balanced stance. Wraps bat slightly but maintains a 30 deg barrel angle for timing and utilizes a leg kick that gains some ground. Stays back into contact. Stays short to contact when lower half supported the swing. Quick finish out of the zone. Groundball/line drive results which feed well into his foot speed. Defensively- Athletic middle infield type actions. Good bounce in his step and moves well laterally. Soft with his hands out in front, featuring a quick release using a short arm action and low 3/4 to side arm release. Occasionall the ball can get up underneath but still able to gather without losing momentum. 72 MPH peak arm strength may keep him at 2B at the next level but has the ability to slide over to SS with some velocity improvement.
