7/24/18
6-foot-2, 250-pound, wide, thick, athletic frame. Strength in lower half, durable pitchers body. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery has tempo and rhythm to it. The hands start high, work down with rocker step, work back up with leg raise. The lead leg direction lands slightly across the body. The arm action is short and clean on the backside, works from a ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 75 mph with action to the arm side. The breaking ball showed proper spin and shape, clocked at 65-67 mph, thrown for strikes, has more in there to use as a putaway pitch. The change up showed feel and fade to the arm side, clocked at 68 mph, chance to be an above average pitch. Pounded the zone with all three pitches, pitched a clean outing. Good follow, look for velocity to climb, overall conditioning is a must, will aid in the development.
