Physical: Even proportioned, lengthy 6-foot-2, 185lb frame with room to hold extra strength. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: Balanced, even stance with the feet just outside shoulder-width as the hands showed slight rhythm up/down at the shoulder. Utilized a deliberate lift and replace stride initiating with some weight shift through a flat path into the hitting zone. Finished tall towards a medium/high finish allowing for a lofty approach over the middle of the field (67% fly ball rate via Trackman). Notched an 82 mph bat-exit velocity, getting handsy at times but producing solid contact at the front of the plate. Registered a near 300 foot batted ball distance suggesting occasional doubles power to pull.

 Defensively: The outfielder got downhill with lots of intent, gaining a running start on the baseball at times. Fielded cleanly with a soft glove hand off the right side (bent at the waist) transferring while turning the shoulders in-line to release out of a lengthy H ¾ slot (79 mph arm). Corner outfield projection down the line and some natural ability to go get the baseball in the air.

Carello possesses a strong and athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.43 seconds and recorded an exit velo of 78 MPH. At the plate, starts in an open stance with his feet close. Hands are at shoulder height, away from the body. Elbow is parallel to the ground. During his load, uses a long stride to develop a wide and athletic base. Hands stay locked in position. Works to stay inside the ball and creates plenty of opposite field contact. In the outfield recorded a positional velo of 76 MPH. Uses small gather steps to stay controlled in his approach to the ball. Makes his transfer away from his body at midsection height. High frontside and long arm action on throws.

6-foot-2, 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. He ran a 7.21 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is online and athletic. He is aggressive with his feet through the fielding of the baseball. He threw 77 mph from right field to home plate during the defensive portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is wide in base and the front foot gains ground to the baseball as the swing is produced. The weight gets shifted to the front foot as the swing is started. The path is free and clean with the hands. The frame can use the addition of strength and weight gain.

Offensively: LHH. Crouched, wide stance with the hand starting at the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a deep hand load coupled with a leg-kick stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone with hip glide to the front side for weight shift. The lower half stays tall throughout the swing while pulling out to the right field side a little early. Generated a repeatable pull-side approach during batting practice with ability to get around the pitch out over the plate. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 86 mph per Trackman Baseball with some length to it on occasion. 

Defensively: The primary outfielder featured solid footwork, arriving to the baseball on time albeit staying behind balls in the air long enough to play with momentum towards the target. Could range to the glove side as well as the RCF gap during defensive evaluations. Arm worked accurately out of a high ¾ slot. OF - 78 mph
