6/30/21
Physical: Athletic, developing 5-foot-10, 160lb frame with some strength coming. 7.29 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Bent, open stance at a loose operation with some pre-swing rhythm. Utilized a short lift and replace down to the toe, getting to the full-foot on time; initiated through a flat, even path into the hitting zone. Was able to get the barrel out for hard line drive contact through the pull-side of the field (43% line drive rate via Trackman) and added a T83 mph bat-exit velocity in a top of the order type approach offensively.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured trusted receiving skills in a traditional crouch. Pop times ranged from 2.00-2.09 with fluid feet and up-tempo transfers that allowed for some straight-line momentum through the throw at H ¾ slot (whippy, 73 mph arm).
