Offensively: RHH - The righty started from a wide, even stance with the hands starting high and torso positioned over the toes; utilized a leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a slightly vertical attack and into the hitting zone, really got down into the legs holding low posture throughout the swing, recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 85 mph giving way to a mostly pull-side approach during batting practice. Could drift into the front side at times creating timing inefficiencies, but showed quality feel for staying back and punching it through the middle when he had his best grouping of swings.
Defensively: The primary outfielder approached the ball with consistency, staying behind until he got a read on it, medium posture while fielding off the left side of his body with a soft glove hand, funnel into the belt and transfer to a high ¾ throwing slot, accurate 79 mph arm strength from his position.
