Walker stands at lean 5-foot-8, 130 pounds. Had a 60 yard dash time of 7.29 seconds. Offensively- Begins with feet wider than shoulder width and knees slightly bent with an open stance. Hands are aligned close to back ear. Uses a leg kick that lands closed as hands load backwards. Hands are short to the ball. Swing plane is flat through his swing. Contact is made in front of body, limiting how much extension can be made. Hips are rotational during his swing. Low, two handed finish with middle of the field line drive/groundball results. Had an exit velocity of 70 MPH off of the tee. Defensively- Approaches the ball with long strides. Active footwork to and through the ball; uses a double shuffle towards target. Had throws of 69 MPH across the diamond with a traditional ¾ arm slot and low elbow throws. Room for physical gains as a 2019, actions are there at the plate and as a middle infielder.
