5-foot-10, 145-pound, average, thin athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, back is wider, has room to fill out and add weight on. A fast twitch athlete, hits from the right side, runs above average, clocked at 6.94 in the sixty-yard dash. At the plate, setup is simple and balanced, feet are slightly wider than shoulder width, are inline, uses a controlled bigger toe tap and gains ground with stride foot. The hands are quiet, set just below shoulder height. The swing is short and compact, level, across his chest, stays through it well, rolls late and finshes with one hand at shoulder height. The approach is more line drive, back up the middle, took two very good rounds of batting practice, tee exit velocity was at 81 mph. Defensively, showed very well, has clean crisp actions, moves well to glove side and came in hard and smooth on slow roller. The feet and hands work well together, the glove is soft, transfers it quick to throwing hand. The arm was clocked at 76 mph, ok strength with very good touch on throws. The double play feed was smooth and on time. Projects more of a second baseman, with the ability to really swing the bat, is athletic, definite follow some one to see here in the next few months.
