Brendan Murphy struck out nine in five innings of four-hit ball and went 2-for-4 with three RBI in the victory. Nick Stricker and Ryan Magee had two hits apiece for the Mustangs.
No. 4 O’Fallon 10, East St. Louis 0
Logan Boente, Heath Zuber and Jaysn Miller pitched two innings apiece in the six-inning perfect game for O’Fallon. Wes Collins went 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBI in the victory.
No. 5 Brother Rice 4, Marist 0
Shane Gorman allowed three hits in six innings, striking out five and walking two, in the victory. Ryan King had two RBI in the victory.
