The MACJC sophomore showcase took place on September 17th and 18th, at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. The event gave host to some of the top sophomore junior college prospects in the state, with numerous players in attendance who will make major impacts on their upcoming seasons as well as future seasons at the Division 1 level and beyond.

Today, we will take a look at several notable players that highlighted day one of the two day event. Look for more in-depth reports with video in the next few weeks.

Will Freeman, RHP, Jones JC
Freeman, an Alabama recruit, continued to impress on the mound. A physical 6-foot-2, 213-pound right-handed pitcher working from a high slot with a short, clean arm action and efficient delivery.
