Amherst Steele southpaw Noah Skladan made the most of his opportunity at the Unsigned Senior Games in August.

Already on the radar of several programs in Ohio, Skladan, who posses a projectable 6-foot-2, 142-pound frame, caught the eyes of scouts in attendance with a low 80's fastball.

After the event, he explained his top schools at this time, "I'm interested in Lake Erie College, Ashland University, Heidelberg University, and Mount Union University."

He breaks down his potential suitors:

Lake Erie - "Coach McGee and Coach Warning from Lake Erie and I have talked numerous times and they've seen me play a bunch this summer. I've visited Lake Erie once back in the spring and Coach McGee has watched me play at my high school too. He graduated from Amherst, so when I first met him we sorta had a 'Go Comets' inside joke."

Ashland - "Coach Schaly from Ashland and I have talked a couple times. I'm planning on going to visit Ashland in late September."

Heidelberg - "Coach Palm from Heidelberg has recently contacted me a couple times after watching me pitch. They recently said they want to schedule a visit with me."

Mount Union - "Coach Agona has seen me play a couple times and I've talked to him a couple times too. I've played at Mount Union a couple times and visited there once. There campus is beautiful and I loved pitching on their field. Coach Agona seems like a great guy and coach.

At this point, Skladan has declared a frontrunner.

"Right now, my leader is Lake Erie College," explained.

Skladan continued, "I like the coaching staff. Coach McGee and Warning seem like very nice guys and great coaches. When I visited Lake Erie, Coach McGee said things about the program that made me want to be apart of it. Their program seems solid and I would love to pitch for Coach McGee."
