OUTLOOK:  

With seven returning starters, the Shoremen will not be lacking experience in 2014. In particular, the lineup is packed with power. Senior backstop Bradley Hamilton (Kent State recruit) returns as an impact middle of the order bat after hitting .438 with six homeruns as a junior. Senior David Winkel will patrol center field after picking up second team all conference honors while hitting .390 with 13 stolen bases. Senior Kyle Kuhar, who had two homeruns last season, and junior Matt Pechaitis, who has big time power, only add to the mix. The biggest question for Avon Lake comes on the mound. Senior Logan Montague returns after going  4-0 with a 1.19 ERA and Logan Delong figures to play a growing role after going 2-1 3.71 ERA
