As we prepare for our 2014 high school season coverage, we are going to take a quick glance at teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK:  

Though the Rebels lost a lot from last year's 45th District Championship squad, they return the top-ranked pitcher in the state in 6-foot-7 senior right-hander Micah Miniard.  Miniard runs his fastball into the low 90's with a power slider and will make Boyle County a team capable of beating anyone when he is on the mound.  Junior Addison Coffey is solid behind the plate and will also serve as the No. 2 starter on the mound.  Sophomore Josiah Robbins will add some punch to the lineup after he missed all of last season due to an injury.  Robbins hit .370 at the varsity level as an 8th grader.  WIth Miniard and Coffey, Boyle will compete for another 45th District Championship and would be a dangerous first-round opponent in the 12th Region tournament with Miniard on the hill.
