As we prepare for our 2014 high school preseason coverage, we are going to take a quick glance at teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK:

The Kokomo Wildkats and Head Coach Tim Weeks enter the 2014 season with just three positional starters and three arms returning from last season's 16-13 campaign. The Wildkats will look to Junior Bo Baker and Senior Isaac Turner to run the outfield.  Baker, a 6-foot, 185 pound left handed hitter, hit .244 as a sophomore with 12 RBI and 3 HR.  Turner, a 6-foot-1, 180 pound right handed hitter, batted .304 last season a Junior.  On the mound Coach Week's will turn to 6-foot-2, 180 pound RHP Adam Bartholomew. The righty finished 2013 3-1 with a team low 2.30 ERA.  Infielder S.A. Dunn is also expected to contribute this spring after leading the JV team in hitting last season.  Senior RHP, Dustin Gamblin, should see some quality innings on the mound.  The 5-foot-9 righty throws a knuckleball almost exclusively.
