TOP PLAYERS

Josh Petersen, RHP/C, 2014 ... Committed to Ohio U. Sits mid-to-upper 80s with good offspeed.
Derek Hoops, SS, 2014 ... Unsigned senior who can play. High energy, emotional leader of the team. A kid every team would love to have.
Logan Ziegler, RHP, 2014 ... Sits upper 70-lower 80s, relies on offspeed as out pitches.
Kollin Spence, UTIL, 2014 ... Good contact hitter who can play any position on the field.
Kyler Seemann, 3B/C/RHP, 2015 ... Matured a lot from the spring to the summer last year and hope to take the next step. Great command on the hill, looking for a breakout season from him.
Joe Nickels, 2B, 2016 ... Was hitting around .600 as a freshman last season before a broken finger sidelined him. He can best be described as a baseball "dirt bag" as in he will not come home without his entire uniform coated in dirt.

OUTLOOK:  

Coach Sunderman is excited about his prospects of competing at the highest level in 2014. The Patriots have a solid core of seniors with a talented mix of youth sprinkled in. The Patriots have Josh Petersen as ace on the mound and he will look to lead PH  to the top of a difficult NWOAL who will have multiple teams ranked to start the season, including Bryan, Wauseon and Archbold among others.
