TOP PLAYERS

Doug Compton, OF/RHP, 2014 ... In 2013 hit .408 with 30 RBI and 14 doubles. 4-year starter. Had a 2.46 ERA on the mound. Will be the #1 starter,
Eric Terry, C, 2015 ... Hit .313 in 2013. Drove in 31 runs.
Mark Peterson, 3B/RHP, 2015 ... Hit .356 in the middle of the order in 2013. Expected to be part of a three-headed hitting monster with Compton and Terry. Will also start on the mound after having a 4.98 ERA as a sophomore.
Ryan Stoffel, UTL , 2014 ... Was an everyday starter in 2013 gaining valuable experience. Only hit .221, but can play all over the field defensively.
Brooks Taylor, OF, 2015 ... Played on varsity as a sophomore. Will be a starter.
Will Mackey, IF, 2016 ... Will look to fight for starting shortstop spot. Played at 2B on Regional Team.

OUTLOOK:  

Summit Country Day has some talent and has good hitters in Compton, Terry and Peterson. Plus in Compton and Peterson Summit finds its best pitchers. This is a team that has good underclass talent and should be competitive this year and in the future.
