OUTLOOK:  

With six starters returning to the everyday lineup and five pitchers back in the rotation, Waynesville is poised for another strong season. Senior southpaw Wyatt Myers (Tiffin recruit) headlines the pitching staff after going 5-1 over 41 innings last season. Senior A.J. Lezotte, a big, 6-foot-2, 175-pound pitcher, figures to be an important piece to the puzzle as well. Meanwhile, junior Bryce Linkous returns after going 5-0 with a .47 ERA and 30 strikeouts as a sophomore. Junior Troy Black will provide a spark at the top of the lineup after hitting .385 last season with 35 hits, 32 runs, and 24 RBI.
