Season Recap:  Thomas Dale finished the 2015 season 15-5 overall and they were the Conference 3 Runners-Up and advanced to the 6A South Regional tournament before being eliminated by Forest Park. The Knights picked up a couple of firsts during the season, with their first ever win over Cosby during the regular season and their first playoff win over James River in school history, which propelled Dale to the Regional Tournament.

+Key Performers:

Nate Eaton (2015, VMI): Eaton was was a big piece of the Knights’ rotation, but was more important to their lineup. He was named the Conference 3 Player of the Year, Co-South Region Player of the Year, and Second Team 6A All-State.

Corey Johnston (2015, VMI): Johnston was the second half of Dale’s pair of aces and was another key piece to the Knight lineup. Johnston was named All-Conference and to the Second Team 6A All-South Region.

Blake Hartman (2015, Hampden-Sydney): Hartman had a strong senior year at the plate and was named All-Conference and Second Team 6A All-South Region.

2016 Outlook:  Thomas Dale lost a lot to graduation and only bring back two starters. They will be anchored offensively and behind the plate by Hunter Vay (C, 2017), who was named to the First Team All-Conference 3 in 2015 as a sophomore.
