The 2015 high school season is just around the corner.  Leading up to the start of the season we are going to take a quick glance at many teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK

Head Coach Ryan Long and the Frontier Falcons head into the 2015 season with high expectations. The Falcons finished the 2014 campaign with a 25-6 overall record, a conference championship (14-0) and a sectional championship.  The Falcons advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals before losing 3-1 to eventual state runner-up Rockville.  Senior Michael Hirt, a 2B/RHP, will lead the Falcons in 2015.  Hirt hit .391 with 31 RBI last season a Junior.  Junior outfielder Tyler Prior leads a talented Junior class and will add to the Falcons' offense after hitting .337 with 23 RBI in 2014. Junior's 3B/RHP Cole Fesler (.349 BA, 20 RBI), C Jarrett Burroughs (.303 BA), OF/RHP Zach Loy (.306 BA, 16 SB) and SS Zeb Davis (.250 BA) are all expected to be big contributors this spring.  With six returning position starters and five returning pitchers, look for Frontier to make another run at a conference and sectional championship this spring.
