According to the Coach

The North Oldham Mustangs look to improve on a 2014 campaign that saw them play 12 of the top 15 ranked teams in the State and win the Derby City Classic Spring Break Tourney.  The 2015 North Oldham Mustangs return 629 of 892 (71%) plate appearances from the 2014 squad.  This represents 168 hits in 547 at bats or a .307 batting average.  Pitching wise the mustangs return their number one and number two starters which represented 52% of the innings pitched from 2014.  The returning earned run average from last year is 1.88 with nearly 60% of the strikeouts.

Head Coach Erik Phelps returns for his fourth year as head coach of the mustangs which has seen him lead the squad to a regional championship and a state tourney appearance, a district championship and a championship in the Derby City Classic.  Erik also has several former mustangs playing in college.
