With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions

Team Name: Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions
Head Coach: Jim Clark
Division: II
2015 Record: 17-11
Conference Record: North Coast League, 5-5, 3rd place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/5

2016 Team Strengths:

• Defense
• Hitting
• Work ethic

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Pitching depth (lost a lot of innings from last year due to graduation)
• Depth at certain position

Coach Outlook: We have a good group of kids who work hard and we have fine leadership. We are losing ten seniors and most of those seniors pitched the majority of innings for us last season. Our League is very competitive with Walsh, Archbishop Hoban ,Lake Catholic, Benedictine, and Padua all returning strong squads. We play a very competitive schedule outside of the conference as well. Our hope is to improve as the season goes along.
