With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Indiana is eagerly anticipating bringing the best high school baseball coverage throughout the entire state.

2016 SPRING TEAM PREVIEW: Crown Point Bulldogs

2015 Record: 20-10
Conference (2015 Record/Finish): Duneland 11-3 (1st)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4

2016 Team Strengths:

• Fairly strong in all areas

Top Returning Players:

• Alex Ruiz, .281 BA
• Brandon Haczynski, .333 BA
• Charlie Patrick, .395 BA
• Mark Mazure (right), C, 2016:  .436 BA
• Mike Wathier, .324 BA

Outlook: The Bulldogs are coming off a successful 2015 campaign in which they tied for first place in the always tough Duneland Athletic Conference.  They return four starters, but will need good production from incoming players on both the defensive and offensive fronts.  Year in and year out Coach Strayer puts together a highly competitive squad, so despite just four starters returning, look for Crown Point to be competitive throughout the spring.
